Monticello, MN

Got home last night from the Minnesota photo trip. After reviewing the images today, although not the best photo of the trip, thought it would be an appropriate post for Valentine's Day. I was watching this pair of Trumpeter Swans doing some mating interaction and at one point they came together to form a heart shape.

Have a number of images to review and post. We never did locate a Grey Grey Owl but were fortunate to capture some photos of a Northern Hawk Owl.

Blue Skies.

Oh Ken this is so beautiful and perfect for Valentine's Day!

You know I love that about swans in terms of how monogamous they are!

Hi Ken,

Wonderful and significant photo. What a coincidence that the 2 swans put their necks together in the form of a heart! Amazing, thanks for posting!
