Got home last night from the Minnesota photo trip. After reviewing the images today, although not the best photo of the trip, thought it would be an appropriate post for Valentine's Day.
I was watching this pair of Trumpeter Swans doing some mating interaction and at one point they came together to form a heart shape.
Have a number of images to review and post. We never did locate a Grey Grey Owl but were fortunate to capture some photos of a Northern Hawk Owl.
Blue Skies.

A lovely heart. A perfect capture.
Oh Ken this is so beautiful and perfect for Valentine's Day!
You know I love that about swans in terms of how monogamous they are!
This is so cool!
I captured a pair of turkeys who formed a heart and have been holding it for Valentines Day, its up now.
That's a sweet photo. Hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day.
That is awesome, Ken. Also I''m glad to here that you have had encounters with Bull 6 also.
A stunning pic that you have captured here Ken and this is the right time to post it too. I look forward to seeing the owl.
I saw your post on Camera Talk MN and I'm happy to hear you had fun despite our tropical weather that week :)
Lovely picture and timely for Valentine's Day
So you got a heart...congratulations!!!
Hi Ken,
Wonderful and significant photo. What a coincidence that the 2 swans put their necks together in the form of a heart! Amazing, thanks for posting!
