RMNP Moose

Here is another moose image from the cache from my Rocky Mountain National Park shoot. This was not one of my better images due to the twig and blur in front of the lower portion of the face, but did like the eye contact. Plans were to head to Shenandoah National Park this weekend but calling for rain so remained here. Need to catch up on things around the house anyway. Hope to get out tomorrow for some local migrants and deer. Blue Skies.

I like it Ken and the eye contact is very good. I have always liked moose, probably because we don't have them around here.

You mentioned Shenandoah National Park and I have looked at many photographs you have taken there. We are planning on spending a weekend there next month, I hope I have a little luck catching the whitetail deer. I have never been there before but after viewing yours and Willards sites it became a must visit place.

Brad send me an email before you go and I'll let you know the places I have had luck.

Good job, Ken. I like it very much even with the twig as otherwise it is a sharp, beautiful image.

Billie Crowmwell and I are probably going to Shenandoah during the latter part of the week for a morning shoot if the weather co-operates, and I plan on going off and on at least through mid-November.
Maybe we'll bump into you there.

Stunning Ken and it looks even better at full size, very nice.

Another great photo of the moose. I saw your comment asking if I had been back to the park. I just got back and posted a couple so far.

Its a nice shot Ken. I like the wet look and the natural habitat framing.

Widlife normally doesn't pose for us, You have done very well given the constraints
