Nebraska

The first few days in Nebraska went especially well. On the road and found a wifi, so thought I would do quick tease post of one of the prairie chicken images captured the second morning in Nebraska. More to come. The photo is of a male prairie chicken, strutting and displaying hoping to capture the interest of the out of focus female in the background. Blue Skies.

I didn't know there was such a thing as a prairie chicken.

Great action shot Ken and if this is a taste of what else you are going to post for us, I can't wait to see them. :) Enjoy yourself and think of us slogging away at our 9-5's while you are out having fun. :)

Interesting shot with a handsome and very colorful prairie chicken. Did you made it through a fence?

OK, so now I know what a prarie chicken is. I just looked at your photography page saw your stunning images. The combat shot is really sweet. You don't get those kinds of opportunities very often with birds. Really nice detail and color in all of them, especially the low shots that brought the blue sky into the background. Great job.
