Yellowstone NP

How awesome, my first day and ten minutes into Yellowstone National Park early this morning, found the above grizzly feeding on a elk carcass. Currently in the NE end of the park and located a wifi in Cooke City. Have several other images from the Tetons and YNP but haven't had any time during the day or evening to work them up on the laptop. Hope to be posting some additional photos soon. Blue Skies

I would like to say you have great luck Ken, but I believe you work for your shots making the luck. Yellowstone in the spring, it gets no better than that. I hope to get their in the spring sometime. Can't wait to see your other photos from the Tetons and YNP. What part of NE Yellowstone did you capture this grizzly?

Well, the bear shot is amazing. What he's doing, not so much.
You are definitely lucky. Seems your passion with photography is your destiny.

Wow Ken, that's a really nice capture, but I'm not a bit surprised. My first thought was I hope you were not putting yourself at risk. But I guess the bear had enough to eat right there in front of him. Can't wait to see the other photos. And all we have here in Florida is birds... bummer.

Wow Ken, so happy for you.. If you were in Cooke City you were only about an hour from my house.. though the road from there is closed in the winter:-) that would have put you about 4hrs from our house.. maybe we can catch you on your return trip.. looks like you had a blast..
