I have been seeing Lynx occasionally since my arrival at Denali National Park. Most of the time I see a glimpse of them from the road and off they go into the bush. When this shot was captured, this particular animal was laying down in some moss relaxing. As you can see, it is some thick woods. I had to lay down flat in the road so you could get a decent view of his head. In the shot below it is the same guy yawning. There are a large number of snowshoe hare (Lynx's favorite prey) along the road now, so expect there will be other opportunities in the future. Blue Skies.
