May your stuffing be tasty
May your turkey plump,
May your potatoes and gravy
Have never a lump.
May your yams be delicious
And your pies take the prize,
And may your Thanksgiving dinner
Stay off your thighs!
Thought a turkey image would be appropriate for today. As mentioned in a prior post have been busy with an EMT class and have not have the opportunity to do any photography with my free time. Things will be changing in the near future though with my last day with Fish & Game on Monday. Blue Skies!
This image was captured in the Great Smoky National Park last fall.

Great Turkey picture and very appropriate for today.
Happy Thanksgiving, Ken, to you and your family!
Great shot. I've just bought a frozen turkey at the grocery store. We use to eat turkey on new years eve.
Hey man - I'm getting full from reading! :)
Happy Thanksgiving!
Cheers, Klaus
Happy Thanksgiving, Ken. A quite appropriate post.
We were at SNP yesterday morning and saw three big bucks by the roadside before dawn, between Skyland and Hawksbill, but only saw one after dawn, which was a big one with a broken right main beam. It seemed that the rut is mostly over, with the big bucks focusing on eating and only the small ones still sparring and chasing some of the does.
A fitting photo of Thanksgiving Ken.
Ken, I hope you and your family had a Happy Thanksgiving. Sorry I am a day late, once you complete your EMT you will realize that holidays change.
A fitting photo for the day.
Hey,,. great poem, but I don't think the pie and whip cream stayed off my thighs.. lol
Ken, on this first day of December let me be the first to congratulate you on your retirement.
I wish you luck in your new phase of life and look forward to hearing of your adventures as a volunteer emergency service provider.
I can only guess that there willl be more free time to shoot great photos, so I am also looking forward to seeing them.
Again congratulations and good luck, Brad.
