Day Out Of The Office

In my job as a Conservation Officer Lieutenant, most days are spent as a desk jockey. I'll admit to selling my soul to the devil for the extra retirement amount. Do miss the field work and try to get out whenever possible. Today the Department's Waterfowl Biologist, Tom Bidrowski, invited me out on the water to survey for rails in some freshwater marshes in their airboat. Waterfowl Biologist Manager Gary Costanzo and Officer Krista Myers also went along for the ride (first image). Enjoyed getting out and took the helm of the airboat for a bit (second image).
