Florida

Headed down to Florida again to visit with family and participate with a photography booth in an art festival. On the way down and back to Virginia stopped in a few of the local honey holes for some avian photography. The above and below Kingfisher images were captured in Wakodahatchee Wetlands.

The below Reddish Egret and Spoonbill photos were taken in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.

This calling Red-winged blackbird image was taken in Wakodahatchee as well.

Yours truly with my younger brother, mother and younger sister at the festival. As you can see I did not get the attractive gene in comparison to my siblings. Blue Skies.

Exceptionally beautiful. The muted background really sets him off!

You made good use of your trip south to get some lovely photos! I hope you did well with your photography sales at the art festival.

Great series Ken, as always and a happy family portrait. I hope you did well with the sales!
Florida seems to have a lot in common with the Pantanal - probably it's the same ecosystem, same species, etc.
