Headed down to Florida again to visit with family and participate with a photography booth in an art festival. On the way down and back to Virginia stopped in a few of the local honey holes for some avian photography. The above and below Kingfisher images were captured in Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
The below Reddish Egret and Spoonbill photos were taken in Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
This calling Red-winged blackbird image was taken in Wakodahatchee as well.

Florida seems to have a lot in common with the Pantanal - probably it's the same ecosystem, same species, etc.
